Better working conditions
The adjustable push bar enables the clinic staff to transfer patients between working stations and examination rooms without compromising their working posture. The push bar is easily adjusted to the individual staff member by pressing the two buttons on the side.
Effective patient flow
With the electric height adjustment, the seat is lowered for patients to move from the waiting room chair to the eye exam chair. Easily push the seated patient around your clinic to perform the necessary examinations while the patient stays comfortably and safely in the chair. When the examinations are finished, raising the seat height will help the patient stand up with less effort.
Improved examination conditions
When the patient is set by the examination apparatus, the central brake is easily locked by the staff using their foot, making it easy to position the chair for the eye exam. The eye exam chair will stay in place during the examination until a staff member releases the brake to move the patient to the next examination.
Tests and approvals
The chair is CE marked in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation MDR 2017/745, which means that the chair complies with all European security requirements.

“We use the VELA Medical chair in our clinic. In particular, we use the chair for the increasing number of disabled patients – they are placed in the chair and can be moved quickly and comfortably to all examinations. The electric height adjustment makes the work much easier for the staff. In this way, the patient flow can be high in the clinic while we are saving time. We have enjoyed our patient lift chair for a year now, and both staff and patients are excited.

They are much safer for our patients as they have proper brakes, side armrests, adjustable seat positions and adjustable height mechanics.
This makes transfers and height adjustments to enable the patient to be able to reach our Visual field and imaging equipment easy.
For the staff, they are easy to move, even on our carpet, making them a great back-saving device for us!
