If you need to completely offload the rectum, perineum tailbone, coccyx or scrotum areas, this coccyx air cushion makes a great difference, especially in situations with localized deep pressure injuries or after related surgery. You just adjust the number of cells within the circular compartment.
The Vicair Centre Relief coccyx air cushion is ideal for wheelchair users that require help preventing pressure injuries. It is also a high-quality addition to a pressure injury treatment plan (stage I-IV), lower – high pressure injury risk.

Sitting on Air
Hundreds of Smartcells, Tetrahedron-shaped cells filled with air, are included in each Vicair wheelchair cushion. To customise the layout, you can add or remove cells as required. SmartCells deliver the most accurate pressure redistribution and stability.
Ready for Use, Low Maintenance
This wheelchair cushion does not require daily monitoring of pressure or pump inflation.
Offloading areas
By simply removing SmartCells from the centre circle compartment of you pressure relief cushion, you create a non-contact area very easily.
Stable Positioning
The two front compartments give thigh support while the Pre-ischial bar gently limits sliding forward.
