Vela Tango 100 electric Paediatric
Vela Electric Lift - Independence Chair
The VELA Tango 100ES is an electric height-adjustable activity chair for disabled children – ideal for children and young people with special needs. The electric height adjustment makes it easier for the youngster to get into and out of the chair and allows the seat height to be adjusted for different activities.
The VELA Tango 100ES supports school and home activities and learning:
- For children with decreased function in the legs, back, and lower back, such as those with muscular dystrophy, dwarfism, juvenile arthritis, or CP, the seat’s stepless, electronic height adjustment allows gentle and safe adjustment.
- Even if the user has reduced muscle function or dwarfism, the central brake and electric height adjustment allow them to climb into and out of the chair at low heights on their own.
- Has an E seat (four sizes) and an E backrest as standard (comes in several sizes and versions)

The Vela Chair Allowed Leanne to Continue to Work
“I have been using this chair in an office setting since early 2020. The difference this chair has made to me is between continuing to work or having to leave my job. That to me is a big deal, as it is hard enough to find employment when you have a disability. Prior to having this chair my legs and feet were extremely tired and sore by the end of the day and then very restless at night making it hard to sleep. The ability for the chair to lower right down to nearly the floor, has been very helpful to get to the bottom draws of the filing cabinets etc.
I no longer have to ask someone for help all the time. Being as independent as possible is a big plus.”

The Vela is an energy saver for new mum Amy
“I love my Vela chair as I’ve been able to do so much more around the house since I’ve had it. It’s especially useful in the kitchen as the electric lift goes high enough for me to cook while sitting. The brake makes it secure and the footrest is great for when you are up higher. It is so easy to use and the battery lasts for ages until you need to charge it again. This chair has really made my day-to-day life so much easier and allowed me to save my energy for the things I enjoy doing, spending time with my family.”

My wonderful kitchen help. The Vela Chair!
I have multiple sclerosis which has caused me the need to use a Vela Activity Chair in my kitchen. I met Ian Wylie (M&P Acccount Manager) the day he brought my Vela Chair. Such a great knowledgeable man who showed me all the functions of the chair. It really surprised me on how easy it is to use. It tilts me towards towards my bench, will go up and down, swivel around and has a break to safely stop and keep the chair in place. I couldn’t be happier with my wonderful kitchen help the Vela chair!

The Vela Tango chairs makes daily life easier
Claus has lived with cerebral palsy all his life. The paralysis is mainly evident on the left side of his body. A few years ago, Claus suffered a fracture in the lumbar area when he had a fall. To keep active after his fall, Claus has been given a VELA Tango Electric (El) Sit-stand Chair with a shallow seat and electric adjustment of the sitting height. The electric adjustment of the sitting height is essential for Claus, e.g. when he has to stand, since he has stiff hips.
